Fall is our family’s favorite season, but since we relocated back to the Southwest, it has been difficult for us to get “in the spirit” of the holidays, when we’re nostalgic for changing leaves, cooler temperatures, and the fall festivals that we experienced in the Mid-Atlantic, Midwest, and Northwest.

Thankfully, this year, we found that we’re just a short drive from the fall festivities, food, and fun that we love, at Apple Annie’s Orchard in Willcox.

A four-generation family farm that has more than 7,000 apple trees (as well as cherry, peach, and pear), and over 35 acres of pumpkins โ€“ that customers can U-pick in September and October, in addition to other assorted produce โ€“ Apple Annie’s is the number one destination for fall family fun.

In addition, Apple Annie’s Orchard also has a Country Store that is open year-round, and features fresh bread, donuts, fudge, jams, pies, and more (the cider donuts and Rhubarb jam we tried were delicious, but sadly, eaten too fast to get a photo of).

We loved visiting the orchard in September to pick apples, and then going back to the patch in October for pumpkins. We’re already counting down the days to our next visit!

You can find more information about planning your visit, as well as a helpful calendar of Apple Annie’s harvest dates, on their website.

Until next time!
